The Streaming Giant Selects Spot-On Star for Bentham in One Piece Third Season

The Secret Organization is poised to make a major impact in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the true confrontation won’t take place until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will portray Bentham. The role has the ability to transform into an exact copy of anyone they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and animated series.

This performer joins several other new cast members set to bring the organization to the screen, featuring head Mr. 0, played by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who is also part of the cast as the monarch of the fictional land.

Although Bon Clay is a key figure of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. With the second season set to cover the Little Garden arc, this marks a major departure in the timing of their first appearance, one that could suggest additional alterations to the narrative framework.

Their mix of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a standout choice for the role. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and numerous honors for writing and starring in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded figures.

Netflix's live-action One Piece show is set to return for its second season on March 10th, 2026.
