The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The influential game designer died after his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
