The popular chatbot platform Character.ai is introducing a significant rule adjustment that will stop teenagers from interacting with its virtual avatars.

This move is in response to intense criticism regarding the kinds of exchanges teenagers were participating in with the virtual friends.

The platform, which was founded in 2021 and attracts millions of users, currently faces several legal actions in the America.

Beginning November 25th, users below eighteen will only have permission to create material such as videos with their characters, as opposed to having discussions as they now do.
